one of the pillars of this organization set forward to combat such misfortunes
anytime they occur. Such programs are organized all over the country to ensure

organizes for disaster preparedness campaigns from time to time to enable
people get prepared for any eventuality in the end. The awareness training is
also coupled with the supply of crucial equipment such as first aid kits and

equipment for fire emergencies and others.
In order to ensure fast and timely response to various
calamities, Relief Trust India actively participates in training of disaster
response teams that are tasked to respond to various kinds of emergencies.
Volunteers offer themselves for such training where they are taught on first
aid drills, rescue and evacuation of victims and firefighting skills among
other skills. Such teams are crucial in every community to help save lives in
case of such calamities as the rescuers understand better about what to do and
when to do it. Poor handling of victims is actually a major cause of many
deaths in situations like accidents and other calamities. Disaster response
teams are therefore taught in this crucial area during their disaster response
training.
Disasters and calamities hitting the society call for enough
manpower for evacuation process. This much needed manpower has been over time
provided by Relief Trust India volunteer and medical teams that have been
trained on the same. The teams arrive at the rescue places in time before
anybody else to actively start the process of evacuation and moving the victims
to safer locations where they will be granted medical attention from the
medical teams. First aid administration is the first thing before the victims
are rushed to various hospitals for further medication and treatment.
Disasters usually come with unimaginable repercussions such
as leaving victims homeless, orphaned or physically damaged. Such cases demand
special care and attention which again Relief Trust India willingly comes in to
offer as children are taken to various children homes and centers run by the
organization. The disabled are admitted for treatment and counseling to ensure
they recover quickly and in time or provide special equipment such as
wheelchairs and walking aids in case they are needed.
